    Each lead's company is researched from public web sources, the single strongest opportunity is picked, and the draft is self-reviewed and rewritten. You review before anything is sent.

Safeguards

Built to be careful with your name and your inbox.

Low-volume by design. Threadline does not try to get around Gmail's limits or spam filters — it sends the way a thoughtful person would.

How we protect your data

  • Any reply stops everything

    Positive, negative or neutral — a reply ends all automation for that lead, and the thread is re-checked right before every follow-up.

  • Tokens encrypted at rest

    Gmail OAuth tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Your Google password is never requested or stored.

  • Server-enforced daily caps

    Limits are enforced on the server, per campaign and per mailbox — not just in the browser.

  • Never sent twice

    Sending is built so the same email can never go to a lead twice, even if the server crashes mid-send.

  • Shared suppression list

    Hard bounces and addresses you suppress are excluded from every campaign, current and future.

  • Append-only audit log

    Every generated message, send, reply and bounce is recorded — and records are only ever added, never rewritten.

A 5-step playbook you control

Research, pick the opportunity, write subject lines, draft, then self-review. Each step's instructions are editable, and every campaign records which playbook version it used.

Careful spreadsheet import

Upload .csv or .xlsx, check how columns were matched, and preview every row before anything is saved. Emails are validated, duplicates and suppressed or previously-replied contacts are skipped, and rejected rows can be downloaded.

Real company research

Researches each company from public web sources — what they do, who they serve, how they operate — and lists every source it used. LinkedIn is never scraped.

Is Threadline a bulk email tool?
No. It is designed for low-volume, personal one-to-one outreach — about 15–20 new emails a day (the default daily limit is 18). It does not try to get around Gmail's sending limits or spam filters. If you need to send newsletters or large campaigns, use a dedicated email service instead.
Do you need my Google or Gmail password?
Never. You sign in with Google and connect Gmail through Google's own OAuth consent screen. Threadline receives an access token, which is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account.
What happens when someone replies?
Any reply — positive, negative or neutral — immediately stops all automation for that lead and flags it as Replied – needs your review. The thread is also re-checked right before every follow-up, and if you reply yourself from Gmail, automation stops too. You then carry the conversation on in Gmail as you normally would.
How do you stop the AI from making things up?
Every claim in the final email is linked to the public source it came from, and you can see that list for each lead. The first draft is reviewed against a checklist and rewritten before you see it, and when the research found little solid evidence the draft is flagged as low confidence. “Review before send” is on by default, so nothing goes out without your approval.
