Terms of Service

By signing in to or using Threadline (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

Threadline helps you run low-volume, personal one-to-one email outreach from your own Gmail account. It researches public company websites, generates draft emails with an AI model, sends approved emails from your Gmail on a schedule you set, and stops a lead's sequence when they reply.

The Service is not a bulk email or mass-marketing tool, and is designed for roughly 15–20 new emails per day per mailbox. Threadline is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

You sign in with Google and connect Gmail through Google OAuth. You are responsible for the security of your Google account and for all activity carried out through the Service using your account. You can revoke the Service's access to Gmail at any time from your Google Account settings.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• send spam, bulk unsolicited email, or messages that violate Gmail's policies;
• attempt to get around Gmail sending limits, spam filters or the Service's own limits;
• send deceptive, misleading, harassing, defamatory or unlawful content;
• upload personal data you do not have a lawful basis to process, or contact people who have asked not to be contacted;
• interfere with, probe or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

You are solely responsible for the emails sent from your account and for complying with all laws that apply to them, including anti-spam and privacy laws such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.

The Service does not currently add an automatic unsubscribe link. You should include a clear opt-out line and your postal address in each campaign's footer, honour opt-out requests promptly, and add those contacts to your suppression list.

Drafts are generated by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude). The Service requires drafts to cite their sources and automatically rejects drafts that fail its checks, but AI output can still be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing content before it is sent — which is why “review before send” is on by default. If you turn it off, you accept responsibility for emails sent without review.

You keep ownership of the data you upload and the emails sent from your account. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the Service. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes. The Service depends on third-party services, including Google and Anthropic, whose availability we do not control.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, reply rate or deliverability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Threadline will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data by emailing support@example.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
