The parts that make personal outreach work.

Threadline does the research, drafting, pacing and bookkeeping, and leaves the judgement to you.

A 5-step playbook you control

Research, pick the opportunity, write subject lines, draft, then self-review. Each step's instructions are editable, and every campaign records which playbook version it used.

Careful spreadsheet import

Upload .csv or .xlsx, check how columns were matched, and preview every row before anything is saved. Emails are validated, duplicates and suppressed or previously-replied contacts are skipped, and rejected rows can be downloaded.

Real company research

Researches each company from public web sources — what they do, who they serve, how they operate — and lists every source it used. LinkedIn is never scraped.

Opportunity, subjects and self-review

Each email is built on the single strongest technology opportunity for that company, with 5 subject lines to choose from. The first draft is checked against a checklist and rewritten, and every claim in the final email is linked to its source.

Review before send

On by default. See the research, the opportunity and the sources behind every email, switch to another subject line, or ask for a rewrite before it goes out.

Sent from your Gmail

Plain text, one message at a time, with no tracking pixels and no link tracking. Follow-ups stay in the same Gmail thread.

Human pacing

A daily limit (18 by default), a random 1–2 minute gap between sends, and a sending window on the weekdays you choose, in your timezone.

Reply-aware follow-ups

Up to five follow-ups. Any reply — including one you send yourself from Gmail — stops the sequence. Out-of-office replies postpone it instead.

Per-lead timeline

See every generated message, send, reply and bounce for a lead in one chronological view.

Full control

Pause, resume or cancel a campaign or a single lead, regenerate a draft, or suppress an address at any time.

Bounce handling

Bounces are detected. A hard bounce stops the sequence and adds the address to your suppression list.

Campaign dashboard

Campaign cards with counts, a lead table, and a review queue for drafts and replies that need you.

By design

What it deliberately doesn't do.

Some omissions are the point. Others are honest limits of what exists today.

  • Open or click tracking
  • Bulk or mass sending
  • Tricks to get around Gmail limits or spam filters
  • LinkedIn scraping
  • Replying to leads on your behalf
  • An automatic unsubscribe link (not yet — add an opt-out line to your footer)

See it on your own leads.

Start with a few rows in a spreadsheet and review every draft before it's sent.
